i remember first watching this video and pretty much just thinking, “holy shit.” to be totally honest, the quality of it all astounded me. the way the speech is overlaid, the shots chosen, the colours, the pacing. it’s all just perfect. i’m pretty sure i once went as far as to say, “that video was the perfect way for that band to be celebrated.” and fuck, are they still one of the most unfortunate casualties of music in recent years.

so, i still can’t get my head around the moment when he just told me the part he played in it. mid-conversation, when i was babbling about that time I FUCKING WALKED AWAY FROM THEIR SET AT SLAM DUNK, and his reply was the most underrated thing ever. and it all clicked. 

don’t know still how or why. but fuck, just wait and see what’s next.

i still get shivers watching this. but the next thing? it’s gonna take your fucking breath away.
